Medecins Sans Frontieres has launched a photo exhibition to highlight the grim situation faced by people living in the Democratic Republic of Congo, a country long troubled by conflict and epidemics.

The humanitarian organisation opened the exhibition, Democratic Republic of Congo: The Forgotten War, earlier this month in the hope of raising awareness of the African nation's plight.

The exhibition is on at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University from April 20-28.
