Reggae on the rooftop and hip-hop in the hallway has finally reached Hong Kong with Sonos' Digital Music System. Comprising a networked audio 'ZonePlayer' that plays and amplifies music in any 'zone' in the home, and a separate wireless handheld controller, the Sonos device plays MP3, WMA, AAC and WAV music stored on a PC, Mac or Network Attached Storage, and comes bundled with customisable internet radio stations. Users simply pick a zone, pick a song and hit play - either the same song synchronously in every room or different songs in different rooms. An LCD screen shows what is playing in any zone at any time, including album art when available. The system's modular design allows users to configure the number of ZonePlayers and Controllers needed based on their home layout. Available from a3 Digital Systems in Times Square.
