I'm writing in response to the article 'If you don't succeed the first time, try again' (Young Post, May 3). I agree that optimism and determination can overcome failure. Also, I think a positive attitude can bring you success.
Many teenagers give up easily when they face difficulties. They try to avoid making mistakes. But if you fail the first time, it doesn't mean you will keep losing.
When you fail, you should try to find out the reasons behind your failure. Then take action to solve the problem. Bit by bit, you will improve and get closer to your goal.
So be confident and always try your best.
