Edison won't budge after grudge

Back from the filming of Hollywood horror film The Grudge 2, Edison Chen Koon-hei says though people in the US have wanted to cast him in other movies, he'd prefer to stay in Hong Kong this year.

'Unless something very interesting happens, I'll be shooting some stuff in Hong Kong,' says the 25-year-old. He reveals he will work on director Andrew Lau Wai-keung's next movie later this year. The pair previously collaborated in movies such as Infernal Affairs and Initial D.

In the Hollywood movie, Chen plays an investigative reporter, alongside Amber Tamblyn and Sarah Michelle Gellar. He is thrilled that he doesn't have to kick and punch in the movie like most Chinese actors do when they first break into Hollywood.

'I'm not kind of even running,' he says with a laugh. 'I'm just acting.'
