SFC details extensive company investigations
The SFC has conducted 57 listed company investigations in the past eight years and referred 18 potential fraud cases to the police, four to the ICAC and seven to the stock exchange, the SFC chairman, Martin Wheatley, told the 3rd Independent Commission Against Corruption Symposium yesterday.
Hutchison prices offer of chinese medicine spin-off
Hutchison Whampoa said it had priced the offer of its Chinese medicine spin-off, Hutchison China MediTech, at 275 pence per share and its market capitalisation would be GBP141 million ($2 billion). The firm will make its debut on the Alternative Investment Market in London on May 19, it said.
HK expected to hold rates
