On Saturday, there'll be 30 fabulous fancy dinners hosted by 30 super local personalities, and all of them will benefit one great charity. The Smile for A Child supper club is organised by the Operation Smile committee, and will take place in 30 separate ritzy locations. To be invited, you just have to make a donation of $2,000 to the organisation. In turn, guests will have a chance to dine with folks like Louise Kou Fook-tseng at her store Kou Concepts, Aron Harilela at the Avenue Restaurant, Ravine Hiranand at her home, or Levina Lee and Yenn Wong at JIA Hotel. Following the meal, everyone will be whisked to a surprise location for one big post-dinner bash.

'It's our first year doing this,' committee member Mandy d'Abo says. 'If we raise $2 million, that would be fantastic. At the party, there'll also be raffles and auctions. It'll be fun and it's going to be a full moon too.'

The charity cures children born with cleft palates and lips. D'Abo is expecting about 400 people but if you don't have tickets yet, you're out of luck. It's sold out. However, for donations or to be added to next year's invitations, e-mail
