'SUITS' IN A RAT RACE TO RAISE FUNDS FOR CHARITY

Here's a cheeky charity event guaranteed to loosen some starched shirts and boardroom collars. Hongkong Land says it will inaugurate the city's first charity Rat Race on October 15. Teams of eight in business suits will be required to race across 2.5km of Central, dodging obstacles and challenges while carrying a suitcase as a baton (pictured is the Sydney version of the race).

Yes, it's intended as a fun metaphor for the tough corporate world, all the while raising money for Mindset, a group that supports mental health-related organisations.

If your group of office suits wants to sign up, first check that you're all 18 or above and are legally employed staff.

Then each team must raise a minimum of $50,000. A senior executive from each team can also enter the Big Rat Race for an additional $10,000 donation, where the head manager in charge can compete against other executives in a shorter obstacle course.
