Not since James Bond slid a throwing knife from the side of his secret-agent black bag has the attache case had such an impact on the world of jet-setting business fashion. The Samsonite Black Label collection's Signat Attache is a revival of the luggage maker's 1960s design, which, back then, separated the satchel-carrying boys from the businessmen. Today's case retains the classic styling, but now comes in pink, red, yellow and cream, as well as the exclusive black of yesteryear. The interior is lined with flower-print fabric, matching the feature pockets for laptop, portfolio and computer accessories, and a detachable pouch for cosmetics. The regular model comes in small, medium and large, while the deluxe comes in mini and medium and has an all-leather carrying sleeve and shoulder strap. This marriage of 60s tooling and contemporary chic will leave the competition shaken, not stirred.
