Berardi joins Wolford Italian designer Antonio Berardi has been appointed creative director of Viennese label Wolford. He will oversee the entire collection, which includes hosiery, bodywear, swimwear and lingerie.


Moore Coco rumour US actress Demi Moore is said to have been signed to play Coco Chanel in a new biopic that's expected to highlight the designer's time as a singer and her numerous love affairs.


Designs go Dutch High Street chain H&M has recruited Dutch design duo Viktor & Rolf (Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren) for its third designer collaboration. The Paris-based designers will create a collection that's scheduled to be launched in November in stores in Europe, North America and the Middle East.


Cox offers at last Shoemaker Patrick Cox has put his business - said to be worth #10 million ($145 million) - up for sale after receiving a series of unsolicited bids. Cox hasn't commented on the sale.


Milla for Mango Milla Jovovich, better known for her star turn in The Fifth Element, has been named the new face of high-street retailer Mango. The 30-year-old model, actress, singer and fashion designer is expected to appear in the collection's autumn/winter 2006 advertising from August.
