BUILDING Wellgan Villa is an 18-storey, single-tower, residential block in Kowloon Tong. Developed by Dorro Properties and completed last October, it consists of 24 units priced from $8,500 a square foot.


DESIGN Each apartment has two balconies, one at the front and one at the back. All are south facing and have many windows to let in plenty of light and cross ventilate the living room and master bedroom. The interiors have quality fittings and materials, and walnut timber flooring is used together with high-quality, 2.5-inch solid wood front doors. The en suite bathrooms are in light colours with imported ceramic tiles and double-basin vanity tops. Typical apartments also have a servant's room. LOCATION Wellgan Villa is situated in a prestigious, low-density residential area consisting mainly of three-storey blocks. LAYOUT There are 22 units from floors five to 22. The 1,545 sq ft units each have three bedrooms. Typical A units have partial sea views and full views of the old Kai Tak airport site.
