Exercise a good way of beating stress

Everyone suffers from stress, from government officials to students. How do you cope? Some people start eating, others cry to let out their feelings. And some people get angry.

I'm sure we've all seen someone on the bus lose their temper and shout. We may think they're crazy, but maybe they're under a lot of pressure.

It may be better for them to shout because they're letting his emotions out.

If you cannot relax, you should seek help. Stress can be very destructive.

Thanks for your letter, Kit-pan. Exams make May and June the most stressful months of the academic year.

Stress can creep up on you unexpectedly. You might be so busy studying for your exams that you don't even realise you're getting stressed.

My personal favourite stress-buster is exercise. If I'm feeling stressed or anxious about something, I go for a run or a bike ride - anything that gets my heart rate up. After 30 minutes of hard exercise, I always feel more relaxed.

And when you aren't stressed, you are able to think more clearly - so you'll do better in your exams!
