ADS MARATHON FOR FESTIVAL
The Night of the Ad Eaters will showcase more than 400 commercials from 45 countries. The five-hour programme is presented by Alliance Francaise and is part of the Le French May Festival.
It is one of the most popular advertisement-related screenings and has been shown in more than 47 countries.
The show will feature Korean advertising and some of the advertising campaigns of Mediterranean countries.
The marathon screening will take place tomorrow and on Sunday from 5pm to 10pm at Queen Elizabeth Stadium. Student tickets at $110 ($180 and $140 for adults) are available from Urbtix on 2734 9009.
SINGERS BRING VARIETY
The A# Singers will stage an acapella performance tomorrow and on Sunday at 8pm at the Fringe Club.
The six-member group was founded in 2005 by former members of the Hong Kong Children's Choir. They have performed extensively, both locally and overseas, and are very active in the Hong Kong
In the upcoming concerts, the group will sing as well as imitate the sounds of musical instruments with their voices. They will perform a diverse mix of tunes, ranging from Broadway (All I Ask of You from Phantom of the Opera) to film music (Can You Feel the Love Tonight from The Lion King).
