two motorcyclists hurt in separate accidents

Two motorcyclists, aged 33 and 41, were injured in separate accidents yesterday. A goods van lost control, crossed the lane into oncoming traffic and collided with a motorbike in Golden Hill Road in Kam Shan Country Park, Cheung Sha Wan, at about 6am. The 33-year-old man suffered serious leg injuries and was taken to Caritas Medical Centre. The van driver, 29, passed a breathalyser test. The 41-year-old motorcyclist was injured in the right arm when his motorbike lost control and hit a parked police car in the New Territories-bound lane of the Tolo Highway at about 7am. Officers had stopped to investigate another accident.
