CASH is putting its money where its mouth is. The Composers and Authors Society of Hong Kong's Music Fund is sponsoring five consecutive nights of shows promoting local songwriting talent with CASH@Fringe: Young Songwriters & Musicians Showcase. It started last night and continues all week at the Fringe Club. Tonight is band night with InLove and TR. Tomorrow features a guitar, harmonica and vocal recital with Stephen Chau, Mark Chan and Priscilla Leung. Thursday showcases young pop artists Barry Chun and Pius Tong, while Friday's concludes the series with an east-west crossover gig featuring Kenix Cheang and Friends. If you want to know about starting times, phone the Fringe at 2521 7251. Entry is $80, which includes a drink, while CASH, Fringe and International Society for Performing Arts members will get in free.
