Councillor in fear after toy-gun find
A Tai Po district councillor believes he is being harassed after a toy gun was found wrapped in a plastic bag outside his office yesterday.
Lo Sou-chour, 52, district councillor for the San Fu constituency, found the plastic bag hanging on a door handle when he went to his office shortly after 9am yesterday.
'The toy gun was carefully wrapped up in a plastic bag. I was shocked when I found it, and then I called police for help,' Mr Lo said.
A police spokeswoman confirmed that a report about finding a toy gun was received at 9.16am.
'A man found a pistol-like object in a plastic bag and it was later found to be a toy gun. The motive is unknown and still being investigated. The case has been classified as a request for police investigation,' she said.
Mr Lo said that in February a dead quail was found outside his office and he believed the incidents could be related.
