Man of the moment Riccardo Tisci's dark, sensual designs for Givenchy come straight from the heart, writes Jing Zhang.
Fashionistas who missed out on the limited-edition gold Razr V3i handset from Motorola and Dolce & Gabbana (selling for about US$2,000 on eBay) can take heart from another luxe release of the stylishly thin flip-top phone.
The new Motorazr V3i Dolce & Gabbana handset comes in a gold-and-silver-hued case featuring an engraved D&G logo, lanyard and gold pendant with the D&G initials. It is also loaded with customised MP3 ring tones, screen savers and wallpapers. Past all that glitz, it remains a clamshell GPRS phone with 12 megabytes of memory and a manageable 1.23-megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom and full-screen viewfinder. Unlike its predecessor, of which there were only 1,000 produced, the Motorazr V3i D&G will be more widely available at Motorola stockists and Dolce
& Gabbana boutiques.
Stocks are expected to begin arriving in Hong Kong in mid-July or early August. Matching accessories include a gold D&G eel-skin carry case, S200 gold headphones and a matching compatible Bluetooth-enabled H700 headset. The price has yet to be announced, although that minor detail rarely matters in the never-ending quest for style.
