MEGA ART PIECES ON DISPLAY
MEGartSTORE, an exhibition presented by the Heritage Museum, will run until November 27.
Its title came from the term 'mega-store'. The art pieces on display are classified under categories - such as Food & Beverage, Health & Beauty, and Leisure & Entertainment - found in lifestyle or department stores.
There are 300 exhibits, including sculptures, ceramics, drawings, paintings, photographs and prints, on display. Four young local architects - Anson Tsang, Kenneth Tse, Steven Chu and Humphrey Wong - were invited to design the store's interior.
Admission for students costs $5 ($10 for adults). Admission is free on Wednesdays. For more information, call 2180 8188.
