Stabbing mystifies victim

A 37-year-old woman was stabbed in the left hip by a man while buying fruit in Woosung Street, Yau Ma Tei, at 3.30am. The man, wearing a black shirt, fled on foot. The woman, in a stable condition at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, told officers she did not know why she was attacked.

Tram derailed

Tram services were disrupted for about 30 minutes after a tram was derailed and hit a traffic light in Johnston Road, Wan Chai, at 3.30pm. No one was injured.
