Is Yuen Wo-ping (right) planning a return to the director's chair? According to a Beijing newspaper, the answer is yes. The Matrix trilogy and Kill Bill action choreographer reportedly has his sights on a movie called Chang Cheng (tentative English title, The Great Wall) about nomadic Huns invading an independent Chinese tribe around the time of the Qin dynasty.

For the lead, Yuen is said to be interested in reuniting with his Fearless star Jet Li, although Li has said he will never appear in another wushu movie. According to the Star Daily, Yuen replied, 'it does not matter because The Great Wall would be an action movie, not a wushu movie'.

However, it's not the only project Yuen is attached to as a director. A quick scan of an internet movie database connects him to a Snow White tale where seven Shaolin monks find a refugee girl in British colonial China, as well as a Marvel Comics adaptation called, The Hands of Shang-Chi, about a young kung fu master who learns his father is the world's worst criminal.
