attack of the krokodiloes

The prestigious a cappella choir from Harvard University, also known as The Harvard Krokodiloes, have returned to Asia. The 12-man group arrived and sang in Hong Kong yesterday. They're at the University of Hong Kong today and will be singing again at the Kowloon Shangri-La hotel's Lobby Lounge tomorrow at 5.30pm and 7.30pm.

Dating back to 1946, the group has performed several shows in Taiwan and Japan in the past two weeks. As leader James Fisher explained, the chance to travel and sing is something every member of the group feels lucky to experience and there's little chance they'll get too big-headed about the star treatment.

'In Japan, we were singing in front of over 1,000 people and were signing autographs on these people's arms and shirts. We were also amazed to see our posters, which were four-storeys high. But once we are back at the university, all the students there are very bright and talented, it sort of keeps our egos in check,' he says.
