JOURNEY THROUGH THE UNIVERSE
Hubble Space Telescope is the latest sky show presented by the Hong Kong Space Museum. The film takes the audience on a journey through the universe, from the closest planets to the most distant galaxies.
The telescope named after the famous astronomer Edwin Hubble was launched in 1990.
The Hubble Space Telescope uses a huge concave mirror to focus light on the cameras behind, allowing astronomers to study the birth and death of stars in detail.
The 40-minute sky show will be screened at the museum's Stanley Ho Space Theatre until November 6. There will be screenings at 2.40pm and 6.10pm daily, with an additional show at 11.10am on Sundays and public holidays.

CELLIST TO PERFORM MASTERPIECES
Cellist Wang Jian will perform Tchaikovsky's masterpieces on Friday and Saturday at 8pm at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall.
Under the baton of Ion Marin, Wang will perform Tchaikovsky's Variations on a Rococo Theme and Fourth Symphony. The latter, regarded as Tchaikovsky's best piece, was dedicated to his best friend Nadezhda von Meck, the wealthy widow who was his generous benefactor and dedicated fan for 14 years of his life.
