Tycoons and socialites welcomed Baroness Philippine de Rothschild to Hong Kong at a dinner at the Derby Restaurant of the Hong Kong Jockey Club's Happy Valley club house. Hosting the evening for the Chateau Mouton Rothschild winery owner was Jebsen & Co chairman Hans-Michael Jebsen.

Five artworks by contemporary Chinese artists and selected rare vintages from the Baroness' private cellars were auctioned, raising $1,650,000 for the Asia Art Archive and Asian Cultural Council of Hong Kong to support Asian artists.

Guests included Broadcasting Authority chairman Daniel Fung Wah-kin, Hopewell Holdings' Sir Gordon Wu Ying-sheung and Thomas Jefferson Wu, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing chairman Ronald Arculli and Shui On's Vincent Lo Hong-sui. Also seen were CNN journalist Lorraine Hahn, chairman of Sotheby's Asia Henry Howard-Sneyd and Gavin Jones from Jebsen Fine Wines.
