North Korea's missile launches yesterday


Korean times given, one hour ahead of Hong Kong time

Scud-C, a short-range ballistic missile, is launched. It lands in the Sea of Japan (East Sea), short of Japan's coast


04:04AM


Nodong, a mediumrange ballistic missile, or a Scud-C is fired and lands short of Japan


04:59AM


Taepodong-2, a longrange ballistic missile, is launched and vanishes about 40 seconds after liftoff. It also lands in the sea


07:12AM


Scud-C or another missile fired and lands in the sea at 8.17am


07:31AM


Nodong missile is launched, landing in the sea at 8.36am


08:12AM


Another Nodong launched


05:15PM


A seventh missile, thought to be a Scud, is launched. It splashes down in the sea about 10 minutes later, Japan's Defence Agency says


(No sites given for individual launches, but South Korea said all were from Hwadae in northern Hamkyung Bukdo province and Anbyun in eastern Kangwondo province)
