When the mid-morning munchies are about to get the better of you, consider a Think snack bar.

The Think Products brand, which manufactures the snack bars, offers many alternatives to chocolates and potato crisps, with a range of meal replacement, snack and energy bars.

Think Thin replacement meal bars are available in many flavours, from the new lemon sorbet to chunky peanut butter and chocolate fudge.

According to Nature's Village, which stocks the bars in Hong Kong, the product range is high in protein, free from sugar, wheat and gluten, and is suitable for diabetics.

The Think Green line is made from high nutrition foods said to improve energy levels. Flavours read like the shopping list of a vegan - spirulina, alfalfa grass, brown rice and wheat grass.

According to the brand, the Green line is made from combined organically grown 'super foods' rich in energy herbal extracts and a source of anti-oxidants, and completely free of trans fats, hydrogenated oil and preservatives.

Fruit and nut flavours dominate the Organic range, with cherry nut, apricot coconut, cashew and cranberry apricot among them.

The United States Department of Agriculture has certified the products organic. They are made without the use of conventional pesticides, fertilisers, bioengineering or ionising radiation.

According to Think Products, the Organic range is made entirely of raw fruits and nuts with no added sugar or trans fats.

The products are available at Nature's Village, G/F, 38 Lyndhurst Terrace, Central. For inquiries, call 2121 1637.
