Driver, passengers escape minibus fire

A minibus driver and his passengers had a narrow escape after the vehicle burst into flames in Sha Tin. When the driver, 60, noticed smoke he pulled over in Yuen Wo Road, got his passengers out and called police. Firemen doused the flames in five minutes and no one was hurt. A short circuit in the vehicle's air-conditioning system was the probable cause of the fire.
