Up front with publicity

Now here's an unusual marketing tool. Starting tomorrow, HBO Asia will be promoting a new show called Entourage, using various ambassadors who will walk around town showing clips from the programme.

The medium for screening will be the front of the person's shirt. In essence, these 'walking TVs' are T-shirts with a video screen built into the fabric that can be operated by a remote control. This is the first time the technology is being used in Asia.

If you want to check out the reception and picture quality of the shirts, the HBO ambassadors for Entourage will be wandering around tomorrow.

They will be in Tsim Sha Tsui about noon tomorrow and Saturday evening, in Central Friday night and Saturday afternoon, Causeway Bay tomorrow night and in the Quarry Bay area Friday afternoon.

This might be the one time you can stare at a woman's chest in awe and not get slapped.

By the way, the comedy series Entourage is about a celebrity and his non-famous friends. It is said to be loosely based on Mark Wahlberg's early career.
