Banish the effects of the sun with skin-care line
Women keen to diminish the freckles and sun spots that ultraviolet rays can leave on their skin should check out the newly launched skin-care line from Smashbox cosmetics.
The brand, based in Los Angeles in the United States, which previously focused on makeup, says the new Starlight skin-care line of whitening products is a natural development for the company.
The Starlight line consists of three products: a toning lotion ($210); a moisturiser ($280); and a photo finish foundation primer ($280).
The key ingredient is arbutin, a natural extract from the bearberry plant which is said to promote cell renewal to help brown spots fade quickly.
The arbutin complex has a slow release delivery system which, according to the brand, allows its benefits to be effective over an extended period of time.
