What happens when flamenco meets Michael Jackson? Singer-songwriter Khalil Fong will show concertgoers tonight during a performance at the AsiaWorld-Expo.

Fong will perform a 15-minute dance featuring a mixture of flamenco and the pop king's dance style with Spanish dancing brothers Isaac (right) and Nino de Los Reyes (above with Fong) who flew to Hong Kong from Madrid for the show.

They will dance to two of Fong's songs and a cover by Taiwanese singer Huang which has been rearranged into more upbeat pieces with a flamenco vibe by producer Edward Chan.

'This is the first time I've had to learn a special type of dance for a performance. It's a challenge,' he said. 'Spanish dancing is a new experience for me. The difficult thing with it is that you have to do certain postures clearly or else you look bad.'

After three lessons from choreographer and instructor Clara Ramona - the mother of the flamenco siblings - Fong met the brothers earlier this week and was impressed with their talent and professionalism. 'They're very good, they know exactly what they're going to do,' he said.

Fong is also working on the final production stage of his next album due out in either September or October.
