The Communist Party leadership will hold an important meeting of the powerful members of the central committee in October. The Sixth Session of the 16th Communist Party Central Committee would review a work report by the Politburo, Xinhua reported yesterday. It would also 'study the issue of building a harmonious socialist society' - a concept emphasising social equity promoted by President Hu Jintao , who is also party general secretary.
