COME, come guys. When we printed details yesterday about the shapely Filipino singing group Bagong Himig's appearance at Wah Yan College in Wan Chai next Sunday, we did emphasise that it was a private function.


A flustered Jose Bautista, managing director of Indio International, the company hosting the event, was on to us by mid-afternoon saying that they have been inundated by callers asking for tickets.


''We've probably had around 100 calls at our office, at Wah Yan and other points,'' explained Bautista. ''Please reiterate in your column that is a private function.'' Consider it done, mate.


PS: To the gentleman who wrote to us yesterday on the group - sorry, Keeping Posted neither has the telephone number of ''the girl first from the right at front'' nor is aware whether she will be needing ''private music lessons''.
