Three City University (CityU) students dominated the Pan-Pearl River Delta Region University Information Technology Project Competition.
Held in Guangzhou earlier this month, the contest attracted students from 200 universities in the mainland, Hong Kong and Macau.
Vicker Leung Chi-yiu and Chris Liang Li, both final-year computer science students, won the first-class award, best practicality award and the best presentation award with their 'Flash-based Web Builder' (FLABER).
Their classmate Lam Ming-yan took the second-class award with her project 'Web Profiling and Navigation Path Analysis'.
FLABER makes website building using Adobe Flash much easier.
By using a simple drag-and-drop interface, users can exploit the full range of animation and interactive features available through Flash to create dynamic webpages.
