Lo gear up for grabs
Singer Justin Lo Ting-wei may have made several unsuccessful bids for gadgets online, but this time he's taking a different route and putting his own gear under the hammer.
Lo (below) will auction six T-shirts and bracelets he wore in commercials for fast-food chain KFC. The auction will run from August 3 to September 18, and those interested can bid by telephone or on the KFC website.
Fans can also bid for a chance to be the hero or heroine in Lo's new video.
Asked whether he is concerned the successful bidder could be less than stunning, Lo said: 'Ugly? That doesn't matter at all. The characters in my music videos are not always beautiful. I just need to see whether he or she fits in the story.'
Lo said those who had a talent for music could also bid for him to listen to their demo. He said he would listen to the song and give some comments.
'I will be much stricter with the song.' he said.
'I'll consider several factors such as singing skills and melody. If the song is really good. I'll include it in my album.'
