DANCE VIDEOS ON DISPLAY

An exhibition showcasing dance videos created by students who took part in the Dance@Media Workshop is running until August 13 at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Foyer.

The participants, aged 15 to 22, gained a basic understanding of how to make dance videos by attending the rehearsals of local and overseas professional dance companies. The workshop was hosted by video artist Chris Chan and choreographer Ong Yong Lock, along with guest instructors Julian Cheng, Maurice Lai and Daniel Yeung.

The programme is part of the International Arts Carnival. The exhibition runs from 9am to 11pm. Admission is free.

FAMILY MOVIE ON FRIENDSHIP

The classic Scandinavian family movie Percy, Buffalo Bill and Me will be screened on Sunday at 3pm at the Hong Kong Film Archive.

The movie is based on a book by Ulf Stark, one of Sweden's most popular children's authors. Stark and his family spent a summer at his grandpa's farm. He asks his best friend Percy to come along. Grandpa has a bad temper and finds it hard to get along with anybody.

Stark falls in love with a girl who seems to like Percy better.

He becomes very jealous of Percy and their friendship is put to the test.

Tickets cost HK$20 for students and HK$40 (adults). For reservations, call Urbtix on 2734 9009.
