I'm totally averse to women wearing too much makeup and men donning business suits with short white tennis socks.

My perfume, a scent created for me by an antique parfum laboratory in the south of Italy. And big sunglasses.

Favourite shoe designer?

I'm a shoe addict and love shoes with rhinestone details. Giuseppe Zanotti, Le Silla and Rene Caovilla are probably my favourites.

Must-have accessories for this summer?

A sun-kissed golden tan, half gloves from Chanel, a Panama hat, ballerina shoes and heart-shaped sunglasses from Moschino.

Most cherished fashion item?

My wedding dress - a fabulous Dior Haute Couture gown. It reminds me of one of the most fantastic moments of my life.

Your style leader?

Grace Kelly and Brigitte Bardot. Not only for their beauty, but also for their strength and character.

How would you describe your fashion style?

I would say eclectic chic with a touch of Milanese styling.

Boho or ladylike?

More ladylike than boho.

Flats or stilettos?

Stilettos. But this season I'm also rediscovering the comfort of ballerina flats.

High-end or high street?

I enjoy mixing pieces. It shows your personality and creativity.

Fashion disaster?

One morning I was rushing to take my son to school and ended up wearing two different coloured shoes. Someone even asked me if it was a new trend.

I like Barney Cheng. His clothes are a perfect mixture of glamorous design, quality materials and meticulous detailing.
