cd: Natalie Imbruglia's Counting Down The Days. Many great songs, my favourite being Shiver.

dvd: The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. A breathtaking, imaginary world and a touching story. Amazing graphics.

movie: Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest.  Keira Knightley, Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp  will knock your socks off in this two-hour adventure extravaganza.

book: The Silver Sequence trilogy by Cliff McNish. In a world of only children, magic ones must save the Earth. McNish is an excellent writer.

gadget: The iPod mini is one of the best inventions ever! It fits comfortably in the palm of your hand and  who really needs more than 1,500 songs?

cd: Up In The Attic by Alien Ant Farm. The third studio album by alternative-metal band Alien Ant Farm offers more of the same edgy guitar riffs, catchy beats and great vocals.

dvd: Spooks. This thrilling BBC series follows the secretive and often dangerous lives of the people  who protect Britain against homeland attacks - the MI5.

movie: Superman Returns. An action-packed superhero film that has it all.  Great entertainment with amazing special effects.

book: Assassin's Apprentice by Robin Hobb. A classic fantasy novel  about Fitz, a young boy given the chance to train as the royal assassin in a kingdom threatened by sea-faring raiders.

gadget: Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX9. A great little 6-megapixel camera with  a 2.5-inch LCD screen. It also has a 3X optical zoom, takes good quality videos and is available in silver, black and red.

Radio 3 Teen Time

cd: Shayne Ward's self-titled debut. The X-Factor winner performed in Hong Kong last week. Great power ballads.

dvd: Shaggy Dog. The adventures begin when workaholic Dave Douglas (Tim Allen) is accidentally transformed into a lovable dog.

movie: As It Is In Heaven. This Swedish movie is about a famous conductor who returns to his childhood  village  to lead the local choir. Nominated for Best Foreign Film in the 77th Academy Awards.

book: Gossip Girl #9: Only In Your Dreams by Cecily von Ziegesar. In their last summer together before heading off to college, Blair, Serena and Nate have drifted apart, but  not for long.

gadget: Soloist Universal Media Dock. Flat speakers and a 10-watt-per-channel Tripath amp take care of all of your rocking needs. It also functions as an  alarm clock.
