Abandoned animals need your love and concern
Here is a list of other animal welfare organisations in the city that need help:
Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (www.spca.org.hk) welcomes all dog walkers above 16 years of age. Interested parties must take part in 10 hours of kennel work and six behavioural training classes at the society's Wan Chai kennel.
Society for Abandoned Animals (www.saa.org.hk) is looking for volunteers to help at their shelters. Work includes cleaning and shelter maintenance.
Lamma Animal Welfare Centre (www.lammaanimals.org) is also in need of dog walkers, as well as cat socialisers, dog training assistants and general volunteers.
Lamma Animal Protection (www.lap.org.hk) needs volunteers who can help with a variety of tasks, including walking dogs.
