The diverse geography, culture and history of the Caribbean islands have played a role in forming Caribbean cuisine, which is as chequered as the region's history.

Food is flavoured with African, Indian, Chinese and European influences.

Havana (25447615) has added a new menu of contemporary Caribbean tapas. The menu lists more than 30 small dishes, offering all the varied flavours of the Caribbean, such as mojito lamb kebabs with mini gravy (HK$68), crunchy mozzarella with spicy pick-a-pepper sauce (HK$48) and seared scallops with fresh mango on a sugar cane skewer (HK$86). Platters and desserts are also served. Set lunch selections (HK$78) are served on weekdays and the Buena Vista social brunch (HK$98) is available at weekends and public holidays. A drinks list has enough choice to find a suitable match for your meal, with mojitos and handcrafted rum beverage the most popular.
