Striker Chan Siu-ki of Kitchee has been recalled to the Hong Kong team as they prepare for an all-important Asian Cup qualifying match against Uzbekistan next Wednesday.

The SAR team maintained their slim hopes of qualifying for the 2007 event after forcing a 2-2 draw against Uzbekistan in their last away match. Hong Kong have so far collected four points in three matches in group F, the same as Uzbekistan, while Qatar top the group with nine.

Chan scored the only goal against Bangladesh in their second qualifying match in March, but was dropped for the last game due to club pre-season training commitments.
