For his new line for jeweller Tiffany & Co, architect Frank Gehry has created six collections using unique shapes and structural details in materials such as black gold, pernambuco wood and cocholong stone. The Torque collection comprises angular rings and bangles, while the Fish pendants are organic, modern shapes that resemble an elongated version of Elsa Peretti's Bean pendant. Axis has bisecting double beams in silver and gold; the wide, sterling-silver bracelet (above) sells for HK$8,800. Pieces in the Fold collection resemble strips of silver origami, and Equus is made up of sinuous curves. Orchid's spirals show off their designer's architectural flair; the single-drop earrings (below left) cost HK$3,500 (small) and HK$3,950 (large), while the double-drop (below right) are HK$4,400. The Gehry collection is available at Tiffany & Co, The Landmark, Central, tel: 2845 9853.
