Nordic toy retailer in hunt for product manager

Top-Toy (Hong Kong) is the buying office for Top-Toy, the largest toy retailer in the Nordic market. The Danish-based company is also the holding company for BR Toys and
Toys 'R' Us (Scandinavia), and employs more than 2,000 people in more than 200 stores.
Focused on quality, educational value and safety, Top-Toy's team of product managers works with the company's merchandisers to source, design, process orders, control quality and ship items manufactured in Asia, including Top-Toy branded products.
The company is adding another product manager to its Wan Chai-based team to source toys in close co-operation with merchandisers, designers and the quality engineering team. The job entails following the entire life cycles of toys and proactively handling products during the different phases of development, from idea to delivery.
The incumbent will drive the product selection, focusing on product relevance and value, functionality and quality.
Applicants should be university graduates from the marketing or business administration streams, with a minimum of five years of relevant job experience in a similar role in the toys or consumer goods business.
Proven experience handling overseas business with a high degree of integrity is a must.
