THERE'S a lot of talk around the traps about Mr Snip in the second event but I reckon the betting snip of the night is John Moore's Django (Nap) in this race.

    Django has had a few mental problems this season but he seemed to go much better last time out against more competitive opposition than he is taking on tonight and he should also represent a bit of value.

  The betting can be over pretty early this evening and the Christmas celebrations start as the best quinella looks to be in the first race.

  Here I'm keen on the triangular combination of Rabbit Bo Bo, Karaoke and Shanghai Triumph.

    Rabbit Bo Bo has been there or thereabouts all season while Geoff Lane's Karaoke should benefit from the extra distance. With the apprentice on board he should also be at good odds.

  Shanghai Triumph has improved and looks ready to run to his best form of last season.
