China coast tales

Jonathan Douglas and Andrea Miller are the lovers who experience all the emotions of the world's greatest love stories. THE elusive search for the Green Man, continues this afternoon in In Search Of The Green Man (RTHK Radio 6, today 3.30pm). In earliest European civilisations he appeared as horned god, protector of the great Earth Goddess; in ancient India he takes the form of the creative side of Shiva; and in classical mythology he is Dionysus sprouting foliage and fun. Today he is becoming a symbol for a new environmental awareness.

TUNE in to the Queen's Christmas Message (RTHK Radio 6, tomorrow 5pm) as Queen Elizabeth sends her season's greetings to the Commonwealth. THE Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will be teaming up with the St Paul's Cathedral Choir for a special Christmas feature Christmas Concert From St Paul's Cathedral (RTHK Radio 4, tomorrow 8pm) in which a selection of ancient and modern carols and a feast of other festive music will be played. OPERA fans can hear The Magic Flute (RTHK Radio 4, tomorrow 1.15 pm). Host Michael Rippon presents Mozart's classic featuring the vocal talents of Kurt Moll, Peter Schreier, Margaret Price, Mikael Melbye, Maria Venuti and Luciana Serra plus the Leipzig Radio Choir and the Dresden State Orchestra with conduction by Colin Davis.
