Money can't buy you happiness, they say, but that doesn't seem to apply to comedian Eric Tsang Chi-wai, whose monetary-themed Christmas and New Year cards brought a smile to all who received them.

Modelled after the US dollar, Tsang's 'Republic of Happy' cards described him as 'Chief of Happiness' and 'Secretary of Joyful'. Decked out in a colonial-era wig and outfit, Tsang's laughing face appears next to his seal that declares him leader of the 'State of Joyful Lucky' in that elusive land of the 'Republic of Happy'.
