Let's play fair

I AM truly grateful for the many freedoms we enjoy here, particularly of the press and the freedom to practise our religious beliefs.

I also enjoy a good joke; tongue-in-cheek humour such as the Star of Bethlehem (Sunday Morning Post Magazine, December 19) can provide a much-needed laugh over the stressful holidays.

But in the interests of fair play, let's not target only Christianity for parody: how about other religions? A little good-natured satire aimed at the Koran or the Prophet might win you a coveted fatwa - a journalistic symbol of courage from the relevantreligious authorities.
