Audition time: when it rains, it pours

A few days after Korean mega-star Rain performs in town, his talent agency JYP Entertainment plans to hold auditions to add new talent to its roster.

Rain will shower his love from January 12-14. JYP will recruit actors/actresses, singers, rappers, DJs and dancers on January 20. The company is looking for new, hot talent that it can turn into, well, models and pop idols to sell soft drinks, jeans and more. If you think you've got what it takes, either sign up at www.jype.com/audition.town or show up at the Korean International School gymnasium (55 Lei King Road, Sai Wan Ho) between 3pm and 6pm on January 20. You must have been born between 1982 and 1996 (meaning that you must be aged 10 to 25). The JYP World Tour Audition will continue to Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Taiwan. Caution: You may have to change your name to some trendy weather terminology to win a contract.
