Q What do you think of the smoking ban?
Let's applaud the ingenious smoking ban. People have been told how hazardous passive smoke is, yet nothing could be done except avoid staying in cramped restaurants.
Now I don't have to consider the ventilation systems of a restaurant. I am more willing to eat out without putting my own health at stake.All my friends and family members strongly support the campaign.
Some may think that the ban is infringing the rights of smokers, but they can still smoke, only not in public areas. And we non-smokers can now enjoy fresh air.
They are free to choose restaurants with exemption licences.
On the other hand, non-smokers now have more freedom to enjoy some fresh air in this already polluted city.
The ban has been running smoothly.
