Yes, I admit it. It's definitely a case of sour grapes, but we in our newsroom were wondering how our friendly rivals, the ever nimble editors and reporters at Apple Daily, managed, out of a list of hundreds of heritage buildings, to single out the 80-yearold building in Mong Kok that has been turned into a brothel.

The Chinese-language newspaper led on it on Wednesday, and we had our tails between our legs, wondering how they got the story.

Well, for one thing, the two Apple reporters did seem to have an intimate knowledge of personal services provided there, as shown in the sidebar. It's tough to go up against such professionals!
