Tsuen Wan runners rule

Some 800 athletes took part in the Sha Tin Riverside 10km, which saw athletes from Tsuen Wan AC take the first three places in the men's race, and the overall champion in the ladies' race. With the event moved forward in the racing calendar from its usual date in March the athletes benefited from excellent racing conditions, which resulted in some of the fastest 10km times so far this season.

It was obvious from the gun that this was to be another close contest between the two 22-year old Tsuen Wan AC teammates, Chan Ka-ho, winner of last weekend's Hong Kong half-marathon championships, and Gi Ka-man.

The ladies race was won by in-form Leung Ying-suet (37:54) who also broke the course record.
