Crown Valley wing Tom Breen tries to fend off two tacklers during Valley's 43-11 victory over CBRE Club at Sports Road last night.

Synovate Hong Kong Cricket Club are runaway leaders of the First Division but this impressive display from their nearest rivals will remind them that winning silverware this season will not be a forgone conclusion.

In an outstanding team performance Valley racked up tries from Steve Hagar (two), Justin Temara (two), Jason Going and Breen, with Temara kicking five conversions and a penalty. A try from Richard Mills, a drop goal from Kenzo Pannel and a penalty from Rob Naylor was all Club could show.

'I couldn't have asked for more from my team,' said Valley coach Nick Ledger.
