Q How can mislabelling of food be prevented?
Some time in March/April last year, I had stomach upsets for some days. I went to Queen Mary Hospital twice over two weeks and was referred to the specialist outpatient clinic. I got an appointment date for December 2007 (more than 18 months' wait for a specialist clinic appointment).
Now, after learning of the recent news about oilfish and the problem it gives, I realise that I had eaten on several occasions during that period codfish served by a well known fast-food restaurant. I remember it came under the name 'Japanese codfish'. I like cod and now I realise that the restaurant had mislabelled or misrepresented its dish; it must certainly have been oilfish they were serving and not Japanese cod as was claimed.

People are no longer happy with their self image because they know that there is a quick and permanent way to change how they look.
